Westerwald Tankard

A fine 17th c. Westerwald tankard dated 1667. Decorated in blue and manganese, the central frieze depicts merrymaking musicians and dancers, the upper and lower bands hearts and diamonds.
Pewter lid with a later inscription “Michael Polle 1707”.
In mint condition.
