England, c. 1660-85.
A 17th c. English bronze mortar with crowned Tudor roses on each side.
4 1/2" h., 5 3/4" diam. at top.
In excellent color and condition.

Scandinavia, initialed and dated "1755" and "1775".
A large, finely carved and paint-decorated Scandinavian long-handled bowl in old red.
Minor crack in handle.
